Factory Maintenance Handyman

We are seeking to employ a Maintenance Handyman to conduct routine maintenance on our factory premises, associated infrastructure, equipment, tools and production machinery.

Code 08 drivers licence - fluent in English - basic construction/ building experience - electronic and electrical experience (220v and 380v) - experience using workshop tools (grinding, welding, drilling, milling etc) - computer and Smartphone literate - excellent health status (job will require bending, lifting, working at heights, working under machinery, detailed work requiring keen eyesight).

Lavaplastic, based in Southgate Business Park, Amanzimtoti has a vacancy for a Front Office Admin Clerk/Receptionist.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, in a busy factory environment.

We require a candidate with previous front desk, customer service experience to join our Admin team. The incumbent will be required to become au fait with an extensive product range in order to deal efficiently with suppliers and customers. Other job requirements include, but are not limited to, proficiency using MS Office and Outlook, excellent interpersonal skills at a variety of levels, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with SAGE Pastel Accounting advantageous.

If you are looking for a maintenance-free, DIY solution for your balustrading requirements, Lavaplastic™ has the solution for you.

Our balustrading complies with South African building regulations and specifications. It can be used for fencing around a pool; along a veranda or balcony; to cordon off a play area, and is also extremely popular for use with our Lavaplastic™ decking.

The balustrading can be mounted directly onto tiles, a concrete slab, or an existing deck. Optional extras include a drinks trays, or binocular ledge.

We do have an accredited installer, should you require installation assistance, rather than the DIY option.

This customer shared his ‘finished look’ with us, after installing Lavaplastic™ woven slatted fencing along his boundary, and utilising Lavaplastic™ maintenance free balustrading, with a convenient access gate, to secure the pool area.

Our woven slatted fencing is versatile – it can be installed on level ground, as well as on an incline. Height-above-ground-installation may vary from 960mm to 1800mm.
