Whilst in Germany, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Goldhofer Transport global headquarters and main manufacturing facility in Memmingen.

A huge thank you to Dean Exner, an exceptional host, as well as Jessica Grode and the entire Goldhofer team.

Wow, what a state-of-the-art facility! From advanced manufacturing to world-class engineering, it was impressive to see first-hand why Goldhofer is a global leader in specialised heavy-duty transport solutions.

The visit was a truly outstanding experience, providing invaluable insight into the people, technology and expertise behind some of the most innovative solutions in the industry.

Thank you again for the warm welcome! 🇩🇪👏

A sincere thank you to Duncan Prince (our exceptional host), Olaf Petersen and Maretha Ge**er from Daimler Truck Southern Africa Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Buses SA, as well as David Bolton and Musa Malevu from Motus Daimler Trucks Airport, for the incredible opportunity to visit Germany and attend IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in Hannover, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for transportation, logistics and commercial vehicles.

Visits to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart and the Unimog Museum in Gaggenau added another dimension to the trip. Together, they provided valuable insight into the brand’s knowledge, innovation, engineering excellence, heritage, and vision.

The experience reaffirmed why the Mercedes-Benz brand continues to be a force to be reckoned with. There is no doubt in our minds that Mercedes-Benz Trucks have been, are, and will remain P&L Machine Moving and Rigging’s choice ..... past, present and future.

Once again, thank you for an unforgettable experience. The journey ahead is moving, and P&L is proud to move forward with Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
