The company "Let's Grow!", decided in 2008 to embark on a project that would bring intensive agriculture to the previously disadvantaged communities of South Africa. The company has a diverse background with decades of experience in farming intensive crops. We have a strong sense of patriotism and wish to see a social upliftment drive get under way by bringing their intensive agriculture skills to
the underprivileged and unemployed, who have until now had little access to the intensive farming industry. Since 1994, there have been quite a number of public sector initiatives that have set out to create jobs and to uplift communities by establishing community farming projects, however the majority of these projects have had many challenges. We aim to change this by creating a sustainable agriculture system to address these past success challenges, and to ensure that government and the NGO sector can have access to an agricultural development concept that is more effective and efficient.
