Please take note that we are experiencing a loss of power supply at Arcadia DC, affecting the following area:

The whole Waterbron area feeding from Vergezocht.

We will provide updates on the estimated restoration time as soon as more information becomes available.

The power maybe restored without warning at any time during the shutdown period, and all installations must therefore be treated as Live and Dangerous.

Following 132kV loss of supply at Harvard S.S North 2 line which affected many areas including:

BRANDWAG, TEMPE, LANGENHOFENPARK, HEUWELSIG, DANPIENAAR,
GROENVLEI,WOODLANDHILLS,NOORDHOEK, BAYSWATER, WAVERLY DOUGLAS VALLEY,BAYS VILLAGE,DAN PIENAAR, BAYSWATER, HEUWELSIG, ARBORETUM, RAYTON, HELICON HOOGTE, HILLSBORO, HAMILTON PUMPSTATION, NAVALPARK, ARBORETUM, NAVIL HILL (MICRO WAVE & FM TOWER),WESTDENE,NEW MARKET, FISCHER AIRPORT,OLIVE HILL, PRASA (TRANSNET), MASELSPOORT,

A fault has been identified. The raptured 132kV insulator at Groenvlei DC must be replaced before the power can be restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused as a result of this outage.
