[𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒] In February this year, building solutions company Waco Modular / Abacus Space Solutions completed a modular building solutions project for a South African platinum group metals and chrome concentrate producer’s opencast operation in Marikana, north-west of Gauteng.

Having provided buildings for the mine in the past, Waco Modular was tasked with the supply of new solutions to accommodate the mine’s transition to underground operations, highlights Rustenburg branch manager Bongani Ngwane.

On Friday, 5 June, the Waco Modular team had the absolute privilege of spending the day at Epworth Children’s Home, an incredible organization that is currently home to almost 80 children.

Our mission for the day was simple: bring the fun, the laughter, and plenty of good food! We fired up the grill and served 120 delicious boerewors rolls to the children and dedicated staff. There is truly nothing better than a classic South African braai to bring people together. 🌭✨

The absolute highlight of the afternoon was the "Epworth's Got Talent" competition. The stage was absolutely electric! The children showcased some mind-blowing talent through singing, dancing, and heartfelt performances. 🎤🕺💃

The Grand Prize: The winning act walked away with a massive hamper packed to the brim with cooldrinks, chips, chocolates, sweets, and biscuits! 🏆

Everyone's a Winner: Because courage deserves to be celebrated, every single child who got involved received a participation chocolate. 🍫

It was a day filled with pure joy, bright talent, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to the staff and children at Epworth for welcoming us with open arms—you reminded us what community is all about!
