Our 12 Months Artisan Learnership Program is an enrichment program for the community and will enable you to develop skills with classroom and on-the-job/core training at Anglo Polokwane Smelter.
1.Learnership - Electrical
You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory and Industrial Electronics as subjects
2.Learnership - Diesel Mechanic
You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Diesel Trade Theory and Engineering Drawings as subjects.
3.Learnership - Fitter
You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Fitting- and Machining Trade Theory and Engineering Drawings as subjects
4.Learnership - Millwright
You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory and Fitting- and Machining Trade Theory as subjects
5.Learnership - Plater/ Welder
You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Plating- and Structural Steel Drawings and Plater’s Theory.
6.Learnership - Transportation Electrician
You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Auto Electrical Trade Theory and Industrial Electronics as subjects.

The successful incumbent will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
