📢 URGENT COMPLAINT – ACCOUNT STILL FROZEN WITHOUT REASON
Standard Bank, I have complied with EVERY requirement you’ve set out. My business account (MNR Builders and Renovations Pty Ltd) has been frozen for days — even after I submitted full F**A documents, a source of funds letter, and even gave you direct contact details to verify my client.
I’ve received no feedback, no confirmation, no communication — NOTHING.
Because of your delay:
I can’t pay my workers
I’m missing out on work because I can’t afford petrol
You’re now damaging my client relationships by asking for info and not following up
To make matters worse, the restriction wasn’t even limited to a flagged amount — you blocked the ENTIRE account.
I’ve opened a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman, but Standard Bank continues to ignore me. Am I under investigation? If so, SAY IT. If not, then unlock my account now.
You are suffocating my business and my livelihood. I need resolution NOW. Not tomorrow. Not in 48 hours. NOW.
Its been 7 days, they treat their clients with total disregard replying to my matter only once per day, despite me stressing the difficulties they place me under.
