Hybrid PV system with back up at Rattray’s on MalaMala ⚡️

An intimate, ultra-luxury safari experience within the renowned MalaMala Game Reserve, Rattray’s offers guests privacy, comfort, and a deep connection to nature, all powered sustainably by Hubble Energy.

To support uninterrupted operations in its remote Sabi Sand location, Sunspec Solar installed a robust hybrid system featuring:
4 x HV512 battery clusters (204kWh)
340 x 550W solar panels
1 x ATESS HPS150 inverter

Hubble’s HV512 1C, 100Ah batteries feature built-in Cloudlink for real-time remote monitoring and a modular, scalable design, allowing the system to grow with the lodge’s energy needs. Fully generator integrated and PLC controlled, the system delivers intelligent, reliable power management that keeps operations seamless and consistent.

With Hubble’s on-site commissioning, technical support, and Cloudlink connectivity, Rattray’s continues to operate efficiently and sustainably ensuring every guest experience remains uninterrupted and aligned with conservation goals.

Powering agriculture in Africa 🌱🐄

A rural dairy farm in the Kabale District on the Uganda–Rwanda border is now running on a reliable off-grid energy system, thanks to a 100kW / 215kWh Battery Energy Storage System built with Hubble technology.

Installed by Energy Independence - Pty Ltd, this system ensures uninterrupted power for critical dairy operations including milking machines, refrigeration and processing equipment, all in an area with no grid infrastructure.

Using high-efficiency solar generation and a Hubble HV battery rack (215kWh), the system is designed to recharge while powering loads throughout the day, providing stable, sustainable energy for the farm’s daily operations.

Projects like this highlight how advanced energy storage can support agricultural productivity while reducing reliance on diesel generators in remote locations.

A big thank you to Energy Independence for delivering this impactful installation and helping bring reliable power to rural communities.

Yesterday we hosted the Nesa Power team for a focused High Voltage training session at Hubble Energy Johannesburg ⚡️

The day began with a technical presentation covering battery fundamentals, safety precautions, system configuration, and real-world applications, building a strong theoretical foundation before moving into practical engagement.

We then conducted hands-on training with our HV range, including a detailed walkthrough of our outdoor solutions.

It was great to welcome a broad cross-section of Nesa’s team, including technicians, designers, project managers, and management. Having both technical and leadership teams involved ensures alignment from system design through to ex*****on and long-term operations.

At Hubble Energy, we believe strong fundamentals combined with practical product experience are key to building confident, empowered partners.
