🤔 Bitcoin. Ethereum. Solana. So why another blockchain?

Remember the internet 30 years ago? 🌍

Innovation didn't stop with the first websites or email services.

New technologies emerged to meet different needs.

🔸 Bitcoin — Digital value and scarcity.
🔸 Ethereum — Smart contracts and applications.
🔸 Solana — Speed and scalability.

But here's the real question:

Think about buying a house. 🏠

The seller says:

“Everything is safe. Trust me.”

Would you simply believe them?

Probably not. 😊

You might get an independent inspection.

Blockchain audits work on a similar principle.

🔍 Independent specialists examine technology for possible weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

Think of it as:

A TECHNOLOGY HEALTH CHECK.

💡 LIGHT-BULB MOMENT

“Successfully audited” does NOT automatically mean:

❌ Zero risk
❌ Impossible to hack
❌ Guaranteed success
❌ Token price will rise

It means defined technology was examined within a particular scope and the findings were reported.

So don't simply ask:

“Has it been audited?”

Ask:

📋 WHAT was audited?
📅 WHEN?
⚠️ WHAT did they find?
📖 Can I verify it myself?

Last time we learned:

🔗 APERTUM = the network
🪙 APTM = the native token

But Apertum is also called a Layer-1 blockchain.

What does that mean? 🤔

Think about a CITY.

Before businesses can operate, we need:

🛣️ Roads
⚡ Electricity
💧 Water
🌐 Communications

That's the underlying infrastructure.

A Layer-1 blockchain is a little like DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE.

It can support:

Blockchain can use cryptography, validators and network rules to help protect and verify transactions.

But blockchain isn't magically risk-free.

And think about what could potentially use blockchain:

The more important the activity, the more important the SECURITY underneath it.

🌐 We saw the same thing with the internet.

Online banking and shopping grew — and cybersecurity became increasingly important.

So when someone says:

“This blockchain is secure...”

Ask:

🔍 Has it been independently examined?
🔐 How is it secured?
📋 Can I see the assessment?
⚠️ What risks remain?

That's education becoming due diligence.
