South Africa has set a goal to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Alien Fuel Group has developed a turnkey solution to assist companies in switching from fossil fuel to a green alternative. Alien Fuel® is made from Alien Invasive Species and wood waste. It has been developed to replace coal, diesel, HFO and paraffin in industrial processes and assist companies to reduce their co2 emissions.

Multi-Annual Indicative Programme 2021 – 2027:
"South Africa is the most industrialised country in Africa, responsible for more than half of Africa's greenhouse gases (GHG) - mainly due to heavy reliance on coal. The coal sector also causes high emissions of air pollutants with strong negative health impacts. South Africa has a very resource-intensive economy with hitherto largely untapped potential for energy and water resource efficiency. The country is particularly vulnerable to climate change, which puts the health and the livelihoods of future generations at risk. The transition from old coal-based capacity and creating sustainable alternative jobs is therefore critical to achieving SA's climate and clear air policy objectives by 2030"

The Alien Fuel Group has developed a briquette made of wood waste and alien invasive trees. This week we tested our innovative green fuel on a steam train. The photos clearly show the difference between a coal emission and a clean Alien Fuel® emission.



Coal is not the only fossil fuel we can replace! Any fossil fuel (eg diesel, HFO, paraffin) used for steam in industrial production processes can be replaced by Alien Fuel®.

Alien fuel Group can look back to a fruitful trip to Brussels and Paris. We where able to present our green innovative South African steam solution in the EU-Green week! Well done Erich and Lea!

Our Alien Fuel colleagues are in Brussels to present our South African solution to reduce fossil fuel usage to the EU commission of Environment. We are discussing European influence and the environmental agreement with Africa as well as our individual challenges and how we can bridge it and work together to combat Climate Change.

Alien Fuel is a biomass energy solution, made from alien invasive trees and wood waste, for renewable energy.
