Last week, ERC had the opportunity to present a 3-day workshop for the UNISA Department of Mining Engineering, focusing on both Pr Tech and Pr Eng registration pathways.

The sessions covered key aspects of ECSA competency requirements and provided practical guidance on developing Engineering Reports for professional registration. The engagement from participants was excellent, with active discussions and strong participation throughout.

On the third morning, Michelle unfortunately became ill and had to seek medical attention at the ER, which meant she was unable to continue at UNISA for the final day. Despite this, Trevor ensured that the workshop continued and was completed, adapting the programme slightly to maintain focus and delivery.

We appreciate the understanding and support from UNISA and all participants, and we are proud of the team’s commitment to ensuring continuity and service delivery under challenging circumstances.
