Management Team Building | Waterval Country Lodge, Tulbagh

What an incredible experience spent with our management team at Waterval Country Lodge in Tulbagh. Over the course of the team building, we not only learnt more about each other, but also gained valuable insight into ourselves as individuals and leaders.

One of the biggest lessons we took away was how perception can influence outcomes, communication, and the way we work together. Understanding different perspectives allows us to lead with more empathy, clarity, and purpose.

The knowledge and experiences shared during this time will definitely be applied within our company, but also in our everyday lives.

🎉 FUN FACT FRIDAY — CoCs & Compliance (Chillers / Heat Pumps / Refrigeration)

Many people think a breakdown is the biggest risk… but non-compliance can be just as costly.

📌 In South Africa, the Pressure Equipment Regulations (PER) state that an authorised person must issue a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) after completion of a gas installation, modification or alteration, and industry guidance applies this to refrigeration and air-conditioning systems in line with SANS 10147 and SANS 347

✅ What a CoC “Certificate of Conformity" helps you with:

- Demonstrates the work was completed by a registered/authorised refrigeration gas practitioner
- Supports better governance for site audits, client handovers, and compliance checks
- Encourages correct procedures like testing, safe handling, and proper commissioning practices referenced in the industry standard framework
