It was a privilege to attend and present at the Climate Smart Beef Conference this week, where researchers, industry leaders, and agricultural professionals came together to discuss the future of sustainable animal production.

Our presentation explored how genomics and data-driven herd management can contribute to climate-smart animal production. By improving traits such as feed efficiency, fertility, resilience, and overall herd performance, genetic tools can help producers reduce resource use, improve productivity, and ultimately lower emissions intensity per kilogram of beef produced.

A big thank you to the organisers for hosting such an important and thought-provoking event, and to everyone who contributed to the discussions. We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting producers through innovative genetic tools and data-driven solutions.
