Introducing our latest project in Blue Downs: the eFree homes. Built using the innovative Citra Building System, these freestanding units are a testament to the success of our eHome, now enhanced with unique features. Each eFree home is an eco-conscious haven, complete with a private garden.

The finishes include modern, minimalistic porcelain tiles, smooth plaster and painted soffit, a ceramic tile splashback, and electrical fittings such as plugs, switches, and lights by Lesco, allowing families to decorate in a way that fits their lifestyle.

In honor of Madiba, our team spent 67 minutes for Mandela Day revamping the Teletubbies Crèche in Blue Downs. It was a great pleasure to have had the opportunity to use our skills and resources to make a difference. Seeing those beautiful little faces certainly brightened this rainy day.

To have a greater impact, we separated the team into different time slots throughout the day; thus far, we have been able to waterproof the Crèche, repaint, distribute food, educational toys and blanks. Our fantastic partners Prominent Paints SA contributed paint, Legends I.T donated a vacuum cleaner and Van der Ross Electrical, a small business based in Blue Downs, provided all the electrical work.

The weather won't stop us from giving our full promise and our work doesn't end on Mandela Day. Once the weather allows, we will install a new fence, build a new sign and add a jungle gym.

At Citra, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of construction!
We recently hosted a 2-day training session for the National Home Builders Registration Council, to further introduce them to our Citra Building Technology (CBT). The training started with various demonstrations in our factory and ended with a tour of our Development, CentralBlue, in Blue Downs.

This collaboration is a big step towards:
- Paving the way for wider acceptance of our technology in construction projects.
- Validating our approach and gaining recognition from a key industry player.
- Opening doors for potential collaboration on developing standards for using our tech in NHBRC-approved buildings.

We're thrilled to be at the forefront of sustainable and efficient building solutions.

Wrapping up the school holidays, we had the pleasure of hosting a talented young artist in our office. She drew portraits of our team, and the results are simply delightful! Move over Louvre, we've got masterpieces right in our office! 🖼️🎉
