Solar Lane & Canadian Solar is proud to see its high-performance products contributing to clean energy transitions across the globe — this time at a waste treatment facility in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In February 2025, a 1.23MW solar system was successfully commissioned, powered by 2,100 of our 585W TOPCon modules. The system supports an advanced, energy-efficient process for high-heat sterilisation and waste treatment.
Each year, this solar plant will generate:
✅ Over 1.9 million kWh of clean energy
✅ CO₂ offset of ~1,710 tonnes/year — equivalent to planting 81,000+ trees
