Energy Monitoring & Load Management
The GSM Commander seamlessly integrates with Acrel Single-Phase and Three-Phase Energy Meters using the industry-standard Modbus RTU communication protocol. This provides a simple and reliable solution for monitoring electrical consumption, analysing energy usage and automating load control from anywhere.
Ideal for commercial buildings, factories, farms, pump stations, shopping centers, office parks and industrial facilities, the GSM Commander collects real-time electrical data from the energy meter and securely uploads it to the AirDrive Cloud Platform for remote monitoring and reporting.
Monitor Critical Electrical Parameters:
Gain real-time visibility into your electrical system by monitoring:
- Voltage
- Current
- Active Power (kW)
- Apparent Power (kVA)
- Energy Consumption (kWh)
- Power Factor
- Frequency
- Phase Voltage and Current (Three-Phase Systems)
This information enables users to quickly identify abnormal operating conditions, monitor energy usage trends and improve overall electrical efficiency.
Cloud-Based Data Logging:
All monitored values are automatically logged to the AirDrive Cloud Platform, allowing you to:
- View live electrical data from anywhere.
- Analyze historical energy usage trends.
- Generate reports for performance analysis.
Identify increases in energy consumption before they become costly.
Intelligent Alerts
Configure custom alarm thresholds and receive instant push notifications through the GSM Commander App whenever abnormal electrical conditions occur, including:
- Overvoltage
- Under voltage (Brownout)
- High current consumption
- Excessive power demand
- Power failure
- Phase loss (Three-Phase Systems)
- Frequency outside acceptable limits
These real-time alerts allow maintenance personnel to respond quickly, reducing downtime and preventing equipment damage.
Automatic Load Control:
The GSM Commander can automatically control connected equipment based on energy meter readings, helping reduce peak demand and protect electrical infrastructure.
Typical applications include:
Disconnecting non-essential loads during peak demand periods.
Preventing overload conditions by switching equipment off when current limits are exceeded.
Automatically restarting equipment once conditions return to normal.
Managing pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, lighting and other electrical loads according to configurable operating rules.
