Morning Devotional â The Fullness of the Spirit & The Choice of Life
Scripture Reading (NIV)
John 3:34, 36
âFor the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.â
âWhoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for Godâs wrath remains on them.â
đż Reflection
These verses reveal two powerful truths about Jesus Christ:
First, Jesus is not just a messengerâHe is the One sent by God, speaking the very words of God. And notice this: the Spirit is given without limit. That means everything Jesus says and does flows from the fullness of Godâs Spiritâno restriction, no shortage, no measure.
This same Spirit is what He gives to those who believe in Him. Your life in Christ is not meant to be dry, weak, or empty. It is meant to be full, alive, and overflowing.
Second, we are confronted with a clear choice:
Believe in the Son and have eternal life, or reject Him and remain without life.
Eternal life is not just about the futureâit is a present reality. The moment you believe, life begins in you. But rejecting Christ is not neutralâit keeps a person separated from that life.
đĽ Key Insight
Life is not found in religion, effort, or good worksâ
Life is found in a Person: Jesus Christ.
And when you receive Him, you receive the Spirit without limit.
đ Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, who speaks Your very words and carries Your Spirit without limit.
Today, I choose to believe in Him fully. Fill my life with Your Spiritâoverflowing, powerful, and alive.
Remove every doubt, every dryness, and every fear. Let Your life flow through me.
I receive eternal lifeânot just for tomorrow, but for today.
In Jesusâ name, Amen.
đŁď¸ Confession of Faith
