Progress Precision Engineering

Progress Precision Engineering Started in 1992, Progress Precision Engineering specialises in close tolerance CNC machining. We also manufacture our own brand of “Bag in box fillers” PROFILL.

Progress Precision Engineering was started in 1992, registered as a CC in 1995. We specialize in close tolerance engineering and are a well equipped engineering concern. In our engineering department we have major role players, as customers and clients i.e Wine industry, Packaging industry, Automotive industry and other sectors of economy. Our filling machines are also installed in many leading Wi

Remote oil filter housing – designed in-house and built for performance. 🏁

This unit is made for race applications or any setup where you need to remotely locate your oil filter for better access or if you have clearance issues for intakes etc.

We’ve incorporated multiple auxiliary ports to accommodate pressure and temperature sensors, turbo feeds, or custom oil routing configurations — giving you flexibility.

We’ll be keeping you updated on the progression of this project, including CNC machining footage as the billet comes to life.

Precision engineering, purpose-built.

When capacity meets capability 👊

At Progress Precision Engineering, we’re fortunate to run multiple Vertical Machining Centers — allowing us to machine the same operation across three VMCs simultaneously.

That means reduced lead times, consistent quality, and serious throughput when it counts.

Efficiency isn’t accidental — it’s engineered. ⚙️

Busy Workshop Update ⚙️

Stainless steel Go/No-Go gauges are complete and heading for laser engraving. Precision doesn’t stop at machining — finish matters. ✔️

Half caps for the African mines are done and ready for delivery.

We’re also deep into a batch of 500 EN19 wheel studs. Second op in progress, third op loading up next. Production moving exactly as it should.

Capacity. Precision. Consistency.

When one of the CNCs went down this week, we didn’t hesitate — fault found, repairs done, and back in production. 💪

Straight back into machining steel half caps for the African mining sector for one of our new clients. On top of that, we handled an urgent breakdown job for another new client and completed a batch of stainless steel go/no-go gauges with precision to spec.

Busy week. Problem solving. Production moving. That’s how we do it.

After hours on the CNC and on the PC doing the design work, our billet velocity stacks are officially done and ready for delivery. Precision-machined, clean lines, flawless finish — these beauties came out exactly how we envisioned them.

From solid billet to final product… this is why we love what we do.

Raw Machining Footage ⚡

K110 steel meets Kyocera tooling. With the MFH series high feed milling bodies, we can achieve feeds of 4500mm/min, chips fly, and every cut hits like clockwork. This is how we turn steel into perfection. 🔥
