How to Install Baseboards

1. choose the look you'd like to go with for the baseboards and trim, Shoe moulding ( curves outwards ) or cove moulding ( curves inwards )
2. start in the corner of the room ( choose the longest wall so you have time to get it before you need to finnish off a corner.

3. Grab the baseboard and use a mitter saw angles to 45 degrees to cut the end of one side at an angel, push the cut end into the corner and use a nail gun to install the baseboard.

4. once you get to the next corner, measure and then cut so that the back of the baseboards line up. If they dont line up perfectly use a caulk cover to up the gaps.

5. it sounds hard but best is to grab a scrap board and play around with cutting until you master it.

6. once all the baseboards are in add trim following the same process.

7. touch up with caulk and paint!
