Kind Reminder: Invitation to the 4th, 5th and 6th National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy Town Hall Meetings

The National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) is coordinating the development of Namibia’s National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy. As part of this process, NCRST is engaging stakeholders through a series of town hall meetings to gather valuable input from communities and regional representatives across the country.

All key stakeholders — including tech innovators, civil society organisations, students, learners and teachers — are kindly reminded to attend the upcoming engagements:

* Saturday, 25 April 2026 – Kunene Region: Putuavanga Junior Secondary School Hall, Opuwo
* Monday, 27 April 2026 – Khomas Region: Regional Council Office, Windhoek; Dr Sam Nujoma Hall, Windhoek North

The Artemis II crew has arrived back on Earth, ending a nearly 10-day journey around the Moon. The trip took them farther into space than humans have ever gone before, and now they're safely home with us.

We’re halfway there.

At the time of posting this, the Artemis II mission is about halfway to the Moon. When the astronauts arrive, they will conduct a lunar flyby and collect scientific observations of the Moon’s surface.

Teams have successfully transported the Artemis II rocket and spacecraft from Launch Pad 39B to the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

While in the assembly building, technicians will troubleshoot the helium flow issue noticed after testing last weekend. https://go.nasa.gov/4tUCmHd
