Last week Wednesday, the picturesque Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit set the scene for a focused day of learning, connection and real conversations around the future of solar in Limpopo.

Together with Sigenergy, we hosted a roadshow designed to bring the region’s solar community closer to the latest solutions shaping residential and commercial projects.

AJ Janse van Rensburg led the Sigenergy product session, taking attendees through energy storage, smart energy management, real-world system applications and the mySigen App.

What made the day valuable was the level of conversation in the room. Installers asked the right questions, shared their on-site experience and engaged with the practical details that help systems perform where it matters most.

And judging by the number of technical questions asked, one thing was clear: put a room full of solar installers together, and there’s no shortage of energy.

From technical presentations to live demonstrations, the roadshow created exactly the kind of space SIAAC believes in: practical learning, stronger connections and real value for the solar community.

We’re excited to welcome Dewald Schoeman to the SIAAC team as Branch Manager for our Cape Town Branch.

With a strong background in sales leadership, renewable energy, C&I and distribution, Dewald brings a powerful mix of commercial insight, technical skill and people-first leadership to the team.

He is strategic, results-driven and commercially minded, with a clear focus on building strong teams, growing client relationships and creating consistency across branches. His approach is built on leading by example, building trust, and aligning sales, operations and technical teams around one shared standard.

What makes Dewald stand out is his ability to bring structure, clarity and calm leadership into every space he steps into. Whether it is managing performance, guiding teams, strengthening partnerships or navigating high-value conversations, he leads with accountability, integrity and a strong sense of purpose.

Outside of work, Dewald enjoys fly fishing, hiking, sports shooting and off-road overlanding adventures with his family. He has a passion for personal growth, learning and building strong relationships both in business and in life.

Union Power Energy - Solar Energy installed a 440kW Sigenergy system at Yellowstone Shopping Mall.

On site, our Technical engineer, Francois, completed the full technical check and commissioning of both systems, covering cable connections, earth bonding, equipment layout, communication and system settings.

Our EPC partners and SIAAC team got a first-hand look at the new Jinko Tiger Neo 3.0

The big takeaway is simple:

DAY 1 in Shanghai 🇨🇳 | Partner Trip with Sigenergy

Our EPC partners and SIAAC team are spending the day on-site at the Nantong Manufacturing Centre, seeing where Sigenergy’s technology is built, tested and refined.

Built in just 11 months, with groundbreaking in May 2025 and move-in taking place in March 2026, the facility spans 136,000 square metres and serves as both a manufacturing centre and R&D hub.

With the capacity to produce over 300,000 batteries annually, each unit is extensively tested before shipping. From version control and design iterations to automation, testing and quality tracking, the visit gave a real view of what it takes to build smart energy systems at this level.

It’s one thing to know the product.
It’s another thing to see the process, people and purpose behind it.

The Capital Zimbali gave us the perfect setting for a day filled with good conversations, technical insight and a room full of people ready to see where energy is heading.

We welcomed industry professionals and business partners for a closer look at the latest Sigenergy solutions and how they fit into real projects, sites and client needs.

AJ Janse van Rensburg led the Sigenergy product session, taking the room through the full product range and bringing the conversation back to what matters most: how these solutions work in real projects.

Mark Van Schalkwyk then brought a different kind of energy into the room with Vector, showing how it continues to turn a proposal into an experience before anything is built.
