MM&E are currently in the process of the employment and training of an additional 300 people for the operation, maintenance and management of the next 100 water jet systems, this in phase 2 of the roll out on various mines in the Carletonville and OFS districts.
These are following the initial 70 systems of the first phase, currently in operation and already yielding a significant increase in production since their implementation underground.
MM&E are excited to begin the mobilisation of the next 100 systems to monitor the positive impact the additional jets will have on the mines production output, Mine Core Factor as well as the resulting downstream future job creation.
