A GREAT DAY ON THE COURSE. AN EVEN GREATER CAUSE. ⛳

Some days bring people together for a round of golf. Others remind us just how much good can come from a community pulling together.

Corestruc was proud to attend and sponsor a hole at this year's BrainLife Charity Golf Day, supporting an organisation doing extraordinary work for people living with acquired brain injuries and the families who walk that journey alongside them.

A brain injury can change someone's life in an instant. The road that follows can be long and challenging, often requiring years of rehabilitation, emotional support and adjustments for the whole family.

BrainLife helps people navigate that journey, offering therapy, counselling, practical assistance and, perhaps most importantly, a community where nobody has to face those challenges alone.

For Corestruc, supporting initiatives like this is something we genuinely value. We have always believed in contributing to the communities around us, supporting the people and organisations who put so much of themselves into making life better for others.

It was a fantastic day of golf, good company and generous spirits, all coming together in support of a cause that deserves every bit of recognition it receives.

A big thank you to BrainLife, the organisers, fellow sponsors and everyone who participated. Your dedication to this cause is inspiring, and we are pleased to have played a part.

Here's to building stronger communities, one good initiative at a time.

Heritage is built over time, in the structures we create, the communities they serve and the infrastructure that continues to perform for generations.

This Heritage Day, we celebrate building with purpose and building to last.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT | BORWA 10ML RESERVOIR, STEELPOORT

Progress continues on the Borwa 10ML reservoir in Steelpoort, with the team currently busy with the ringbeam.

The ringbeam is an important structural stage in the reservoir build, tying the upper structure together and preparing the reservoir for the next phase of construction.

It is another strong example of how Corestruc's precast systems bring structure, sequence and speed to complex water infrastructure projects.

We will share more progress from Borwa as the build advances.

Some of the best business conversations don't happen around a boardroom table.

Corestruc and Coreslab participated in the Pietersburg Club Annual Golf Day in Polokwane, supporting an event that brings the local business community together while raising funds for a good cause.

Limpopo is an important part of our story. We work here, build here and have relationships across the engineering, construction and business communities that have developed over many years.

So a day like this is about more than a round of golf.

It is an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new ones and support an initiative that puts something back into the community around us.

Thank you to the Pietersburg Club team, the organisers, sponsors for an incredible day.

Heritage is often spoken about as memory.
In infrastructure, it is also what continues to work.

The reservoir that still stores water. The bridge that still carries traffic. The public structure that continues serving its community long after the construction team has left site.

The decisions made during a project travel much further than the construction programme.

The method selected today influences the maintenance burden tomorrow. Tolerances, quality control, installation sequence and handover records all become part of the long-term performance of the asset.

During Heritage Month, there is value in considering the built environment in the same way.

The infrastructure we deliver becomes part of the communities around it. People use it, rely on it and ultimately judge it by whether it continues to perform.

That is a legacy worth building.

For long-life infrastructure, involve Corestruc while design, methodology, quality and delivery controls can still shape the outcome.

When we highlight a successful project, we often focus on the finished structure.

But what makes that project work is everything happening behind it.
Engineering, design, manufacturing, logistics and installation all need to move together.

One delay or disconnect has an impact further down the line.
That’s why I believe an integrated approach is becoming increasingly important in construction.

At Corestruc, our teams work within a coordinated digital system that connects project information and gives the different disciplines visibility of what is happening, what comes next and where action is required.

Some projects are impressive not because they're visible from a distance, but because of the precision required to build them.

Construction is advancing well on the 6.5ML Sefene Reservoir, where every precast component contributes to a structure designed for durability, efficiency and long-term performance. We'll continue sharing updates as another reservoir moves closer to completion.

Every bridge eventually becomes part of someone's daily journey. Long before vehicles cross it, months of engineering, reinforcement and construction take place below the surface.

Our team is currently making excellent progress on the Sekgosese Bridge in Limpopo, where the foundations of another important transport link are taking shape. We'll continue sharing the construction journey as the project progresses.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: Tzaneen 2ML Reservoir

Reliable water infrastructure starts with careful planning and disciplined construction.

Work is progressing well on our 2ML reservoir in Tzaneen, where another critical piece of municipal infrastructure is steadily taking shape. Projects like these quietly strengthen communities by increasing storage capacity and supporting dependable water supply for years to come.

Reliable water starts long before it reaches a community.
It starts with infrastructure that is designed, built and commissioned to perform for decades.

Since 2019, Corestruc's precast post-tensioned reservoir system has helped deliver approximately 600 ML of water storage capacity across South Africa. Every completed reservoir adds to the experience behind the next one, strengthening the way we continue to deliver water infrastructure for municipalities across the country.

Sharing proven solutions is just as important as talking about the challenges facing the water sector.

Because every completed reservoir represents something far bigger than concrete and steel.

It represents reliable water for the communities it serves.
