Spanning 110,000 mยฒ across nine exhibition halls, the event brought together more than 1,200 exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in UAVs, eVTOL aircraft, AI-powered robotics, autonomous vehicles and unmanned systems.
One of the highlights was the presence of around 10 vendors demonstrating manned drones - offering a glimpse into a future where personal aerial mobility could become a reality. While the technology is advancing rapidly, widespread adoption will depend on regulatory frameworks evolving alongside innovation, including readiness from authorities such as the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
