CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: COOKHOUSE WINDFARM ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME!

Are you a small or medium-sized business looking to grow? Applications are now open for Cohort 3 of the Cookhouse Windfarm Enterprise Development Programme!

In partnership with Suzlon and implemented by Global Leadership Consultants (GLC), we’re inviting eligible businesses to apply for structured business development support to help strengthen their operations and prepare for growth.

Who can apply?
Businesses must:
- Be registered with CIPC and currently trading.
-Have an active business bank account.
- Operate in agro-processing, automotive, manufacturing, renewable energy or tourism.
- Be based in or serve Cookhouse, Somerset East, Bedford or Adelaide.

What does the programme offer?
- Business development support, including compliance, governance and financial readiness coaching.
- Mentorship and sector-specific technical guidance.
- Support towards accessing external growth funding.

The work includes subgrade preparation, pavement layers, edge restraints, paving falls, surface drainage, testing, and quality control.

The scope covers civil, structural and building works, a steel carport, paving and drainage, plumbing and septic system, HVAC, an off-grid solar PV system and a CCTV system linked to our remote monitoring in Bedford. Electrical/PV and CCTV must be priced separately.

Cookhouse Windfarm is inviting eligible students to apply for its 2027 Scholarship Programme, aimed at supporting students pursuing studies in fields that are critical to South Africa’s economy.

Priority fields include:
Engineering
Science
Technology
Mathematics
Technical Scarce Skills

Applications are open to South African citizens residing in Adelaide, Bedford, Cookhouse or Somerset East, who meet the programme’s eligibility requirements.
