SITE SUPERVISOR / INSTALLATION TEAM MANAGER

Location: Edenvale, Gauteng
EL Solar & Electrical Solutions is looking for a dependable, hands-on Site Supervisor to lead and manage our solar and electrical installation teams.
The successful candidate will coordinate daily site activities, manage team performance and ensure that every project is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Main Duties:
- Lead and supervise installation teams on site.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress.
- Ensure that all work complies with applicable electrical and safety standards.
- Inspect the quality of installations and resolve on-site problems.
- Confirm that the required materials, tools and equipment are available.
- Provide management with regular progress reports and photographs.
- Report delays, shortages and technical concerns promptly.
- Maintain discipline, productivity and professional conduct on site.
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Assist with solar and electrical installation work when required.
- Ensure that sites remain safe, organised and presentable.
Minimum Requirements:
- A qualified electrician is preferred; however, applicants with sufficient practical electrical, solar and team-management experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience leading or supervising an installation team.
- Good knowledge of solar systems and electrical installations.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and follow system designs.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel to different project sites.
- Must be reliable, responsible, detail-oriented and of sober habits.
