Management’s strategy is to build the Company into a profitable resource and energy company and maximize shareholder value through exploration of its high quality mining properties in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. The Company is committed to working with the government and people of South Africa to achieve a modern and sustainable development best practice. The Company follows best practices in health and safety, environmental and community engagement. Our business strategy requires that we align our prospecting activities to maximize our involvement in the downstream industrial and commercial opportunities rather than simply become a supplier of raw minerals. This is in line with the national economic aims of the government (beneficiation). Development Strategies
The Company’s strategy is to build shareholder value, through acquisition, exploration and development of coal, iron ore and platinum projects in South Africa. This strategy has been developed by a synthesis of Masimbane's core skills in project evaluation, structured acquisition, exploration and project development and operations, an area where Masimbane's executives have significant experience. One coal Prospecting Right for Alleen -1 Mining Project have already been acquired, with three more in application, and drilling programmes is well underway at Masimbane's Klip River Coalfield, Alleen - 1 project area. The alignment of prospecting activities with our business strategy has required that we create value, rapidly, in the first few years of the exploration programme where drilling takes the asset from its inferred to a qualified reserve with a bankable feasibility study (BFS) and a resource asset with a defined value, and that is where we see the company’s investment interest.
