🚧 Attended the National Construction Summit on Crime-Free Construction Sites 🚧
We were honored to attend the National Construction Summit on Crime-Free Construction Sites, organized by the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI) in collaboration with the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Construction Industry Development Board (cidb). Held on 19 November 2024 at the Durban International Convention Centre, the summit was a significant gathering aimed at addressing crime and safety concerns on construction sites across South Africa.

🎤 Hon. Dean Macpherson, Minister of Public Works & Infrastructure – His passionate commitment to eliminating crime on construction sites and ensuring safe work environments resonated with all attendees. Minister Macpherson emphasized the need for collaboration to create sustainable and safe infrastructure.
🎤 Hon. Senzo Mchunu, Minister of Police – Addressing the critical role of law enforcement, Minister Mchunu reinforced the importance of police involvement in tackling crime within the construction sector, ensuring security for both workers and assets.
🎤 Mr. Enock Godongwana, Minister of Finance – Highlighted the broader economic implications of crime in the construction industry, focusing on how security impacts investments and the national economy.
