Entering your token soon after purchasing it helps reduce the risk of it no longer being accepted and supports uninterrupted electricity management.

Before completing a purchase, always check that the correct meter number has been provided. Once the token is received, enter it as soon as possible and keep the purchase confirmation until the credit reflects on the meter.

Before reporting a meter issue, try a few quick checks. See if your neighbours are affected, check for outage updates, look at your meter display, confirm your token was entered correctly, check your balance and make sure your main switch is on.
