Theo Wilcox, is the Director of New Projects and Business Development of Optimum Air (Pty) Ltd a turnkey, design, supply and installation HVAC company.
Theo Wilcox is a registered professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). He holds three degrees, a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (Electrical Engineering), and two Master’s Degrees in Project Management and Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. �
He has more than 20 years engineering consulting experience in the Built & Engineering environment that extents to both the private and public sectors. Previously he was an Executive Director at BFBA Consultants (Pty Ltd) and the Founding Member of Lesedi Consulting Engineers CC.
An Entrepreneur for the last 10 years Theo currently holds directorships in numerous companies and currently plays an active role as Managing director at WillpowerWorx (Pty) Ltd, Director at Carican Impact Fund Managers (Pty) Ltd, Managing Director at Willpower Properties (Pty) Ltd, Director at Carican Africa Energy Managers (Pty) Ltd, Director at Akhumzi Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Business Development Director at Metsi Worx.
He is a past national board director on the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP) and ex-Chair within SAIBPP KwaZulu-Natal. He is also currently a Board Director at the Fetola Foundation promoting SMME’s.
