Join our team in Gamsberg, Aggeneys, Northern Cape and lead our commitment to a secure work environment. We're seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to:
* Identify and assess hazards, risks and control measures for a specific operation or process.
* Assess and document hazards, risks and controls in a manner consistent with established procedures and practices.
* Manage and supervise the safe handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
* Manage and supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace.
* Lead and ensure that all company employees meet all MHSA requirements.
* Provide MHSA training if necessary.
* Lead and ensure that health, safety and environmental policies are followed.
* Investigate workplace accidents and refer them to the proper authorities.
๐๐'๐ซ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก:
โถ๏ธ 10+ years of HSE experience in Industrial Construction and Mining (aligned with DMRE guidelines).
โถ๏ธ A Diploma/Bachelorโs Degree in Safety Management (or equivalent).
โถ๏ธ Valid competency certificates (SAMTRAC, COMSOC 1 & 2, or equivalent).
โถ๏ธ SACPCMP registration.
โถ๏ธ Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills.
