Job Overview
We are a small residential construction company based in Mount Edgecombe seeking a reliable, hands-on Site Foreman to manage day-to-day operations on our residential building sites. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage daily activities on residential construction sites
• Lead and coordinate labourers and subcontractors
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and timelines
• Monitor quality of workmanship and materials
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site
• Manage tools, equipment, and site materials
• Conduct daily site checks and report progress to management
• Identify and resolve on-site problems efficiently
• Maintain site cleanliness, order, and professionalism
• Accurately complete and submit staff timesheets for fortnightly wages
• Assist with setting out and basic measurements
Minimum Requirements
• Valid driver’s licence (essential)
• Sound knowledge of residential building processes
• Ability to read and understand basic building plans
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
