Today marks an extraordinary milestone — 50 years of a life that has touched, influenced and inspired more people than you may ever truly realise.

Today, we celebrate Brian Jones — not simply as a founder, a creator or a leader, but as a husband, a father, a friend, a mentor, a visionary and, above all, a remarkable human being.

Brian, there is something incredibly special about a person who looks at the world, recognises where things could be better, and has the courage to dedicate themselves to doing something about it. Where others may see obstacles, you see possibilities. Where others may simply hope for change, you have the conviction to pursue it.

That determination is a reflection of the person you are.

You possess a rare combination of compassion and strength, ambition and humility, imagination and perseverance. You have an enormous heart for people and an unwavering belief in the potential for humanity to do better, become better and stand together for something greater than ourselves.

Nobody has heard from or seen him since the 28th of May 2026. He is 76kg, approximately 1.7m. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. A missing person case has been opened at Seshego Police Station.

🚨 STOLEN. TRACKED. RECOVERED. 🚨
A real recovery story from Pietermaritzburg that proves the power of rapid response of AAA(A) Response and strong networks.

This past Sunday, while attending church in Pietermaritzburg, a staff member from Mondi walked out to discover every driver’s worst nightmare — her personal vehicle was gone.
