A custom-made propeller blade connector which I made for a radio controlled aircraft / glider. The connector allows the blades to fold rearwards during such times which the motor is switched of during flight. The blades can be seen in the rearward-folded position in the first picture. The propeller blade connector can be seen in the second picture.

The solar-powered winch which I built with my Hadeda glider. I wrote a book / presentation on how to build this glider. The presentation is freely available in the post-section of my Linked In page at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/felix-thoma-57126134/ . The presentation out-lines two types of wing plan-forms. The first type which is shown on the front cover of the presentation is the easiest to built, the second type which can be seen here has a NACA 4409 airfoil and is somewhat more complex to build.

Repairing the pedals of a pedal-boat: In this video, I explain the process I use to make sure these pedals run true and straight when welding them. I have made a second movie in which I explain how I fit all the components together, using a jig, before I weld everything together. The second part can be viewed on my youtube-channel at this link : https://youtu.be/Qfev4aMw7yQ

I have uploaded the book which I wrote while designing and building my wind turbine, on my Linkedin page, in the "post section" as PDF. https://www.linkedin.com/in/felix-thoma-57126134/ . The photo below shows the wind turbine the way it looks today and has reliably generated electricity for several years powering the LED lights in our house. The picture that you will see on the first Page of my book shows the turbine in it's first prototype version. The book takes the reader step by step through the building, experimenting, learning and improving process.
Those interested are welcome to access my book through the link mentioned above.

During my apprenticeship, we manufactured the components for this model-lathe. We assembled the parts to form a working machine. The blue parts are anodized aluminium, the cylindrical slide-ways are ground silver-steel and the slide-ways cast iron. The motor is a 12-volt DC motor.
