Concrete Worm has successfully completed two penetrations through a 3 meter concrete slab. Stitch drilling conservative 130mm cores was the chosen method and 10 cubic meters of concrete was removed. The penetrations were made to allow the installation of new pumps and valves in Africa’s oldest dry dock. This is the oldest operating dry dock of its kind in the world.

Concrete Worm has just completed the removal of a church steeple in Bellville. The steeple weighed more than 50 tons. It was cut into four pieces and lowered to the ground by means of a crane. We had to work from a cage suspended from a second crane. We cut the structure with our remote controlled wall saw.
