Another exciting project completed by Tarps and Canvas!

We recently had the pleasure of installing shade cloth covers for the kids’ play area and custom roll-up blinds for the main restaurant deck at Pinecreek Restaurant & Farmstall

The new playground area now offers a comfortable, shaded space where children can play safely while families relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and great food Pine Creek is known for. Our blinds on the restaurant deck also help create a more comfortable dining experience by providing protection from the sun and wind, allowing guests to enjoy the view in any weather.

It’s always rewarding for us to be part of projects that bring families and communities together, and we’re proud to have contributed to this fantastic new space.

A big thank you to the Pine Creek team for trusting Tarps and Canvas with this installation. We wish you many happy visitors and plenty of laughter from the kids enjoying the playground!

Dear Valued Customer,

As we conclude another year, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your loyal support throughout 2025. We appreciate your business and couldn’t succeed without you!

Please note that our factory will be closed for the festive season from Friday, 19 December 2025, and we will reopen on Wednesday, 7 January 2026.

To ensure timely delivery of your orders before the holiday season, please submit all final orders for 2025 by Monday, 8 December 2025. After this date, our operations will be suspended for the holidays.

Our Story

Tarpaulin & Canvas (aka Tarps & Canvas), established in 1994, has acquired a reputation as the Eastern Cape's leading manufacturer of custom-made PVC and Canvas goods.

Originally from Pretoria, owner Clayton Heyns, along with his wife, Katy, has made significant inroads into the PVC and Canvas markets and the couple are dedicated to building up a strong and healthy business. Seventeen years after purchasing the business, this is still the case. Both remain intimately involved and operate the business from their own 2000sqm factory in Braelyn, East London.

"At Tarpaulin & Canvas we pride ourselves on quality products and service excellence. We have a fleet of vehicles standing ready to carry out installations and on-site repairs. We are able to custom-make anything from a tension curtain or boat cover to roll-up blinds or chicken/pig house curtains. The business is ever-changing to accommodate the demand for the numerous items manufactured from PVC and canvas.
