Capricorn Components - Your Specialist Fastener / Component Manufacturer

The Company

It has been in existence for 40 years since 1980 and has many years experience in this field local and overseas.

Material Range

We manufacture products of sizes between 1mm to 55mm from brass, aluminium, copper, steel (EN1A, EN8, EN9, EN19); stainless steel (SS303, SS304); silver steel and plastic (PVC, nylon, acetale, vescolite, polyethylene).

Manufacture

Is by way of Cam Automatic lathes, also know as Screw Machines. The company has a range of Indexing type and Long Turner type cam Auto's from 4mm to 40mm capacity. The second operation department consists of Drilling, Threading, Milling and Slotting machines.

Quality

Is very important at Capricorn. All items are manufactured from the Customer's drawings and specifications, if these are not available Capricorn prepares a drawing for customer approval. A well equipped team of inspectors check every part, off every machine, at regular intervals, using the drawing as the controlling document. In cases where very close tolerances must be met, Statistical Process Control methods are employed and X-R charts run.

We manufacture a vast range of specialised products like bolts, bushes, bosses, nuts, inserts, contact pins, screws, spacers, connectors, snapbolts, rivets, washers, heat sinks, conductors, studs, terminal posts, axles, rings, sleeves, wickstems, adjusting k***s, ferrules, caps, collars, spindles, ni***es, plugs, hinges, locking components, locknuts, barrel nuts, shafts, domes, etc.
