Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-orientated Warehouse Manager to oversee our distribution center specializing in the import, wholesale and retail sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts. This role manages end-to-end logistics, from clearing international inbound containers to coordinating regional outbound deliveries.
The ideal candidate will optimize storage layouts for bulky automotive components, maintain strict inventory accuracy and lead a high performing warehouse team to support our fast-paced sales operations.
Key responsibilities
Container De-stuffing : Oversee the offloading and processing of inbound international shipping containers.
Discrepancy Reporting : Reconcile incoming shipments against commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation to identify shortages or damages
Inventory Control : Lead routine cycle counts and comprehensive stock audits to maintain 99% accuracy within the SYSPRO system
Order Fulfillment: Ensure rapid and accurate picking, packing and dispatching of counter sales, branch stock orders and wholesale shipments
Staff Management : Recruit, train and manage warehouse associates, forklift operators and delivery drivers
Safety Compliance : Enforce strict warehouse safety standards, ensuring proper handling of heavy parts and mandatory forklift certifications
Performance Tracking : Monitor warehouse key performance indicators including order accuracy, receiving turnaround time, and picking speed
Qualification and Experience
Experience : Minimum of 5 years in warehouse management, specifically within the automotive parts, heavy duty truck components or industrial distribution sectors
Import Knowledge : Proven track record handling international sea/air freight receiving and bonded warehouse environments
Technical Skills : Proficiency with advanced ERP software (SYSPRO)
