Excellent progress on our 5MW rooftop PV plant in Olifantsfontein!

To date, we’ve successfully installed approximately 70% of the PV panels across multiple roofs, marking a major milestone on this project.

Roof walkway installations to ensure safe access and maintenance

Pulling and dressing of PV DC cabling

🚧 Project Update – 4MW PV Plant | Alrode, Alberton ☀️

Great progress on our 4MW rooftop PV plant in Alrode, Alberton!

We’ve successfully completed the installation of PV panels on the top section of the roof, along with the roof walkway installation, ensuring safe access and long-term maintenance.

🔧 What’s next:

Replacement of selected roof sheets on the bottom section

Commencement of PV panel installation

Installation of cable trays and PV cabling

✅ We’ve also tested the stringing in line with our QA/QC procedures, confirming performance and compliance at this stage.

Great progress on-site! Our 4MW rooftop solar installation in Alrode has reached 70% completion on PV panel mounting. The team is pushing ahead efficiently while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

🔧 Next Steps:
As we move forward, we will begin the full QA/QC processes, ensuring every panel and component is installed correctly and performs as designed. Following this, our crews will start installing the cable trays and PV cables to prepare the system for commissioning.

Our team is hard at work ensuring world-class QA/QC on our 5MW rooftop solar plant in Olifantsfontein. As we progress through the phases of installation, precision and quality remain our top priorities.

🔧 Current Milestone:
We are busy verifying all mounting bracket torque settings and conducting string testing on the completed PV strings. This ensures every component meets our strict engineering and safety standards.

🔌 What’s Next:
Following this phase, our team will begin installing the cable trays and pulling the PV cables, after which we will carry out the QA/QC procedure on the cable trays and another full round of string testing will be completed to confirm system performance and reliability.

We’re making great progress on our 5MW rooftop solar project in Olifantsfontein!

Our installation teams have completed around 90% of the mounting brackets and have started installing the PV panels across the rooftops. The project is now visibly taking shape as we move into the next exciting phases.

Next on our schedule:

🔹 Inverter installation
🔹 AC cabling and final electrical connections
