We are fortunate to be involved in the refurbishment of one of Southern Sun ’s hospitality gems, The Cullinan in Cape Town!

Refreshed new guest room design by InHouse implemented across the 394 rooms, including uplifting the Conference Rooms and the iconic ground floor entrance lobby has provided a new sparkle to this gem. The new pool deck and resurfacing of the pool adds to the new look.

Project Management of a hotel refurb is our speciality, and doing so in a live operating hotel requires excellent communication and teamwork between the project team and the hotel operations to minimize guest impact. Proud to be involved in The Cullinan refurbishment with our prestigious clients, Southern Sun, for completion of the 3-year refurb due in Q3/2025.

Brown Altini have successfully delivered a 1600 SQM Storage & Labelling warehouse for ICA International Chemicals Developments at their Stellenbosch Head Office. The ICA Group of Companies researches, develops, manufactures & delivers novel and generic chemical products for use in the agricultural, food processing and industrial hygiene industries.

The Warehouse is constructed on a piled foundation with post-tensioned floor slabs, brick infill wall panels and steel portal roof structure, comprising compartmentalised storage sectors with foam activated fire protection systems, including external drum storage units. An underground 250 cubic metre spill collection tank provided a challenge during the 2024 record winter rainfall experienced in the Western Cape.

Whether big or small, the dedication of our team to deliver the ICA Warehouse is testament to the successful operations experienced by the client. Collaboration between client, project team and contractor is the catalyst for success.

Padel Courts on the rooftop of Sandton City Shopping Centre: The first phase, featuring four outdoor courts, is now complete and fully operational, offering a top-tier playing experience in an iconic location. Meanwhile, Phase 2, which includes four indoor courts, is underway and will soon provide an all-weather option for enthusiasts.

This marks our first project for Bidfood as we look forward to building a strong partnership and delivering many more successful projects together.

One of our two current Hyper Scale Data Centre projects, Teraco JB5 in Isando, is nearing completion. Spanning 55,000m² over six storeys, this cutting-edge facility is one of the largest of its kind on the African continent. B+A is proud to be the Project Managers and Principal Agents for this prestigious development—our eighth Hyper Scale DC project for Teraco, a Digital Realty Company.

One of our specialist niche sectors is Hyper Scale Data Centres with our experience spanning some 18 years. We have successfully completed some of the largest Data Centre facilities in Africa including flagship developments for the likes of Teraco Data Environments (A Digital Realty Company), Vodacom South Africa, Standard Bank, Africa Data Centres and more. We are currently managing the construction of 4 different hyper scale Data Centres in Southern Africa, which will ultimately house global wholesale and co-location blue-chip entities.
