Collaboration in Action: International Visits the Plant at Dunnottar

BFG Africa was honoured to host colleagues from BFG International during their visit to South Africa, including a tour of the Gibela manufacturing facility in Dunnottar.

The visit provided valuable insight into Gibela's manufacturing capabilities and the important role BFG plays in South Africa's rail industry. As a proud Tier 1 supplier, BFG manufactures approximately 90% of the train's interior composite components, as well as the front-end assembly, helping to deliver world-class passenger trains built locally.

Seeing our components integrated into the final product reinforces the strength of our partnership and our shared commitment to engineering excellence, localisation, skills development and the continued growth of South Africa's rail manufacturing sector.
