1. Maple Syrup (Traditional Style)
Ingredients
• Maple tree sap
(Optional: vanilla or cinnamon for flavor)
Instructions
1. Collect fresh maple sap.
2. Pour sap into a wide pot.
3. Boil on medium heat until water evaporates and syrup thickens.
4. Skim off foam as needed.
5. Strain and cool.
6. Store in sterilized bottles.
Note: This is the traditional method; store-bought maple syrup is already processed.
2. Honey Syrup
Ingredients
• 1 cup honey
• ½ cup water
Instructions
1. Add honey and water to a saucepan.
2. Heat on low flame, stirring gently.
3. Do not boil; heat just until well combined.
4. Cool and transfer to a bottle.
5. Store refrigerated.
3. Pancake Syrup
Ingredients
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup water
• ½ cup corn syrup
• Optional: vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Combine sugar, water, and corn syrup in a pan.
2. Heat on medium, stirring until sugar dissolves.
3. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and add vanilla if desired.
5. Cool and store.
4. Golden Syrup
Ingredients
• 1 cup sugar
• ¼ cup water
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Heat sugar and water until golden caramel forms.
2. Carefully add lemon juice and more hot water if needed.
3. Stir gently until smooth and syrupy.
4. Cool completely before storing.
5. Vanilla Syrup
Ingredients
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1–2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
2. Heat until sugar dissolves fully.
3. Simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
5. Cool and store in a sealed bottle.
6. Butter Syrup
Ingredients
• ½ cup maple or pancake syrup
• ¼ cup butter
• Optional: vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
2. Add syrup and stir gently.
3. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
4. Add vanilla if desired.
5. Serve warm.
