π’ IMPORTANT NOTICE β FUEL PRICING (HOEDSPRUIT)
We are aware of the concerns and discussions currently circulating regarding fuel pricing in Hoedspruit, and we would like to address this openly and honestly.
There is a perception that suppliers are holding back fuel to benefit from expected month-end price increases.
This is not the case at Bosbok.
It is also important to understand that the current situation is not isolated to Hoedspruit or South Africa.
The ongoing conflict in Iran has significantly disrupted global oil supply chains, resulting in sharp increases in fuel prices worldwide.
This is a global issue, not a local pricing decision.
Over the past 3 weeks, we have been receiving diesel at continuously increasing replacement costs, with each new load coming in at a higher price than the last.
β‘οΈ We will be sharing a recent invoice reflecting a landed cost of R28.12 per litre, which is already significantly higher than earlier in the month.
β‘οΈ This stock is currently being used primarily for bulk deliveries, where pricing is directly linked to replacement cost.
At the same time:
We have limited forecourt sales to 50 litres per customer
We have tried to keep pricing as reasonable as possible, even though we are already paying higher replacement costs
β οΈ These conditions are not sustainable indefinitely
