Fleet Manager (Diesel Mechanic Experience Required)
Are you an experienced Fleet Manager with a strong diesel mechanical background? We're looking for a motivated, hands-on professional to oversee our fleet and keep our operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the company fleet.
- Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and service records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage workshop activities and liaise with suppliers and service providers.
- Minimise downtime through effective planning and preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic or extensive diesel mechanical experience.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, trucks, and fleet maintenance.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
- Valid driver's licence (Code EC/Code 14 is advantageous).
