What is the difference between our two baseplates?
Our 240mm unit has 2 options: a Flat base plate and a Tile baseplate. Both baseplatse come in: Charcoal / Silver / Grey / Black / Ivory White / Beige / Terracotta / Green
1️⃣ Flat Base Plate
If you are installing this unit onto an IBR, corrugated roof, or a container this is the right baseplate for you. It sits on top of the ridges of the roof sheet. Ideally, this is installed at the highest point of the roof, normally going under the ridge cap. Flashing can also be used if mounting the roof whirly lower down on the roof, flat roofs or on containers.
2️⃣ Tile Base Plate
Our One-Size-Fits-All tile baseplate has been designed to fit most tiled roof types. It may require some trimming to ensure a snug fit with certain roof tile profiles. This baseplate replaces a single roof tile.
