Water shedding is spreading across South Africa's commercial and industrial hubs.

Gauteng, the country's economic engine, has faced sustained water-shedding since 2023.

Nationally, up to 40% of treated water never reaches the tap, lost to ageing pipes before it arrives. Government estimates the infrastructure investment gap at roughly R900 billion.

For a factory, a cold storage facility, or a processing plant, a two-day outage doesn't ask permission. It means a halted production line. Stock at risk. Output lost.

Our clients won't feel it.

Fibon Water finances, delivers, and manages water infrastructure for commercial and industrial operations, no upfront capital, a fixed fee, a long-term contract built for certainty.

Financed. Delivered. Managed.

Your electricity bill has one feature nobody asked for: it goes up every year, and you don't get a vote.

For most South African businesses, energy is the one major cost with no ceiling and no control. The tariff climbs, you absorb it, and you do it all again next year.

It doesn't have to be the model.

Solar changes the maths but the upfront capital is what stops most businesses before they start. That's the part we remove. Fibon funds, builds, owns, and maintains the system. You simply pay for the energy it produces, at a lower, predictable rate. No capital outlay.

Over a 20-year agreement, that turns an unpredictable, rising cost into one you can actually plan a business around.

The companies pulling ahead on margin aren't using less energy. They've just stopped letting its price surprise them.

What would the next five years look like if your energy cost stopped climbing? ๐Ÿ‘‡

Nearly half of South Africa's treated water never reaches the people paying for it.

Around 47% is lost along the way, much of it to ageing infrastructure built for a smaller, slower-growing country. It's a national challenge, and it costs roughly R26 billion a year.

None of that is news to anyone running a business here. The quieter question is the important one: what happens to your operation the day the supply you count on doesn't arrive?

Water is becoming something smart operations plan for the way they already plan for energy. Not something you simply receive, but infrastructure you secure for yourself.

That's where we come in. Fibon funds your water infrastructure and brings in the best water contractors to build it so you get secure supply without the upfront capital. One partner to structure and fund it, specialists to deliver it.

The most resilient businesses aren't waiting to find out how reliable the tap is.

How secure is your water, really? ๐Ÿ‘‡

Electricity prices will keep climbing. Yours don't have to.

You already know the numbers, 8.76% from Eskom in April, another 9.01% on municipal tariffs from July, and more coming next year. Most businesses treat that as a fixed cost of operating in South Africa.

It doesn't have to be.

Here's the shift we're seeing among the businesses we partner with. They've stopped trying to predict the tariff and started removing it from the equation.

Through a Power Purchase Agreement, Fibon funds, builds, and operates a solar system on your site with no upfront capital. You pay per kWh at a rate you agree to today locked in for the next 20 years. No CapEx on your balance sheet.

So the question worth asking this quarter isn't "how much will power cost next year?"

It's "why am I still letting someone else decide?"

Let's talk about fixing your energy cost for the next two decades.

This is what water security actually looks like.

Not a spreadsheet. Not a projection. Rows of potatoes, thriving, under a center pivot that hasn't missed a cycle.

This is one of our Fibon Funded Water farms right now, growing exactly as it should.

Behind that pivot is financing, not ownership. The farmer isn't carrying the capital, the maintenance, or the performance risk. Fibon Water is.

The crop doesn't know the difference. It just gets water, on schedule, every time.

That's the whole point of Water Service Agreement. The result isn't a feature list. It's a paddock like this one.

Want water security like this on your farm? Let's talk. [email protected]

Four years, cut down to a few months.

That's the difference smart financing made for Baywind Trading, a family cattle and irrigation operation that needed to expand fast, without the cash flow to do it the traditional way.

Fibon Water structured the funding and delivered a fully integrated irrigation system: three pivot points, a network of pipelines, pump stations, and automated controls. Pressure sensors and automatic valves now manage water flow with minimal manual input.

As Baywind's manager put it in a recent ProAgri feature: "With Fibon, we finished everything within a few months."

The team now runs the entire system from their phones, full control.

If cash flow is the only thing standing between your farm and its next phase, that's a conversation worth having.
