We’re Hiring: RAG Pipeline Developer!

Are you skilled in NLP, machine learning, and developing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines? Join our mission to create a personalized tutor bot tailored to the WAEC curriculum and make quality education accessible in West Africa!

Requirements:
- Proven experience with RAG pipelines or similar NLP systems.
- Proficiency in Python and NLP frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain).
- Knowledge of embedding models, vector databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with the WAEC curriculum is a plus.

Role Highlights:
- Develop and deploy RAG pipelines for educational content.
- Integrate diverse formats (notes, LaTeX, exams) into the system.
- Deploy the tutor bot across platforms like SMS, WhatsApp, and Telegram.
- Focus on cost optimization and seamless user interaction.

Enlight is on a mission to bridge the profound educational gap in impoverished areas lacking internet connectivity. Over 300 million African students are denied quality education due to the digital divide, with 194 million affected in West and Central Africa and 191 million in East and Southern Africa. This inequality perpetuates limited opportunities and hinders community development.

So, how are we addressing this problem?

Enlight offers a groundbreaking solution by providing offline access to high-quality, interactive, and up-to-date educational resources. Say goodbye to outdated materials and monotonous content! Our 'Book of Everything' device broadcasts engaging lessons within a 60-meter radius, allowing up to 25 students per device to connect simultaneously without needing an internet connection. We incorporate interactive simulations, gamified lessons, quizzes, and concise notes/videos, fostering immersive and practical learning experiences.
