During data center commissioning, load bank testing is the ultimate stress test for mission-critical infrastructure. 😉

Here is how we use load banks during commissioning:

👉1. Generator testing: Confirms generators can handle incrementally increasing loads up to full capacity while maintaining stable voltage, current response, temperature performance, and fuel reliability.

👉2. UPS and battery testing: Verifies inverter performance, battery discharge capacity, load sharing, alarms, and step-load response under controlled load conditions.

👉3. Integrated systems testing: Uses load banks to simulate future IT rack power and heat loads, proving that ATS switching, UPS takeover, generator start-up/synchronisation, and cooling systems operate correctly.
