Here’s a reality check on Netstar.
Their warranty is 95% recovery on your vehicles. Secondly, it’s mandatory by insurance companies to have a tracker on an insured vehicle over R200 000.

After having Netstar tracking cover “Early Warning ….Jamming Resistant” and paying premiums on numerous vehicles monthly for over 10years, we have had 3 vehicles stolen in the past 5 year. One in 2015, one in 2017 and one in 2021. Not one vehicle was tracked and traced after notifying Netstar within minutes of the theft. Every vehicle stolen has come at a bigger replacement loss even though it is insured.

What is the probability of the recovery of our vehicles falling within the 5% none recovery ratio.

That leaves the question, how many other clients have experienced the same situation and fall with this 5%. Not to mention we spend thousands of rands on a system that fails.

Netstar will not accept failure of their products and all they do is say….”I’m Sorry “…. All they interested is taking your money.

To add insult to injury, their communication is pathetic as they fail to correspond on emails.

Lastly, we have also experienced Netstar deducting premiums for 2 years for a vehicle that has been stolen.
