When White Desert set out to solve the extreme heating challenges at their Antarctic tourist camp, cost wasn’t the deciding factor. They chose performance. They chose Gree.

In one of the harshest environments on Earth, the system needed to deliver reliable heating at ambient temperatures as low as –25°C, while maintaining efficient airflow and rapid defrost cycles. Just as importantly, White Desert aimed to reduce daily diesel consumption—cutting both operational costs and the logistical and environmental strain of fuel use.

The Gree R32 refrigerant, high efficiency inverters were supplied by Eurocool – Gree Air Conditioners and installed by Africa TT.
